ASSK Terms & Conditions
1. Membership:
By becoming a member of the Actuarial Students Society of Kenya (ASSK), you acknowledge and agree to comply with the society’s constitution, guidelines, and code of conduct.
2. Personal Responsibility:
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided during the membership registration process. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information up to date and notify ASSK of any changes.
3.Code of Conduct:
Members of ASSK are expected to uphold high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions and engagements within the society. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
4. Event Participation:
ASSK may organize events, workshops, seminars, and other activities for the benefit of its members. Participation in these events is voluntary, and members are responsible for their own actions, safety, and well-being during such events.
5. Intellectual Property:
Any materials, resources, or content provided by ASSK, including but not limited to publications, presentations, and website content, are protected by intellectual property rights. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use such materials without prior permission from ASSK.
6. Liability:
ASSK and its representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during ASSK events or as a result of your participation in any ASSK activities.
7. Termination of Membership:
ASSK reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership at its discretion if a member violates the terms and conditions or engages in conduct deemed detrimental to the society or its members.
8. Amendments:
ASSK may modify or update these terms and conditions from time to time. It is your responsibility to review and comply with the most current version available on the ASSK website or communicated through official channels.
